THE NEXUS GROUP ANNOUNCES EXPANDED BUSINESS, NEW IDENTITY

NASHVILLE - Effective today, The Nexus Group Inc. is the new identity of Tennessee's largest independent Internet, communications and enterprise-technology provider. The Nashville-based company was founded in 1994 as ISDN-Net.

Nexus Group Co-Founder, President and CEO Jerry Dunlap announced the change this morning, explaining, "We considered a name change for more than three years. We were reluctant to drop our original name, because it was under that brand that we earned our customers' trust for 14 years.

"The time is now right," Dunlap continued, "to integrate our advanced business and consumer services under the Nexus brand. Factors driving this decision include the sharp rise in technology-enabled business in Tennessee, our acquisitions strategy, advances in technologies, and fundamental changes in state and federal policies."   - more -
